Houston Car Show | West Ave | June 2021 - The Car Culture

Houston Car Show | West Ave | June 2021

It's been eight months since our return to The Shops at Arrive River Oaks and what better way to kick of the Texas summer with a car show at West Ave!

THE MORNING ROLL CALL

Unlike our other car shows, We start the West Ave Car Show a little later to be considerate of all the residents who live above the shopping center. Kicking off our morning roll call was no other than Mr. Nick Dennis himself in his beautiful Dodge Viper GTS!

By 9 am, the sound of high octane filled The Shops at Arrive as cars started to arrive!

THE CAR CULTURE WEST AVE SHOW BEGINS!

As we finished off parking all the beautiful machines and spectators started filling in West Ave plaza, The Car Culture West Ave show kicked off and was off to an amazing start!

From the huge crowd of spectators to the abundance of beautiful machines, The Car Culture West Ave show was such a spectacle for Houston's car enthusiast community.

COOL FINDS AT THE CAR CULTURE

We have some shows where we put emphasis on certain types of cars. It could be muscle, exotics, or imports. At West Avenue, we always try our best to diversity all the makes and models Houston has to offer! And this show was no exception to that!

1992 PORSCHE 964 C2 TURBO RACE CAR

First off race cars are cool as hell because racecar...duh. This 1992 Porche 964 C2 Turbo racecar is literally a 964 on steroids. Built by GAS Motorsports and livery design by Retrospect Motorworks, this Porche 964 C2 Turbo has a fully built 3.3L RUF Boxer engine. Every single part of this machine comes from a standard Cup race car, from its gearbox to the suspension setup and interior.

MORGAN AERO SUPERSPORT PROTOTYPE

When we think of Morgans we think of classic British cars but, man, that title of classic British cars is much more luxurious and elegant than we think. From its gorgeous interior and swooping designs, the Morgan Aero Supersport is a piece of art on wheels. Powered by a V8 derived from BMW pushing 362 BHP and smooth delivery of 361 lb-ft of torque.

BMW 3.0 CS 1972

Throughout its early beginning as a Car Manufacture in Germany, BMW struggled compared to its competitors, but during the late 60s and early 70s, BMW designed and manufactured a car that single-handedly kept the company alive. Ladies and gentlemen allow me to present to you the 1972 BMW 3.0 CS. Classified by its chassis, the E9, the 1972 BMW 3.0 CS carries the iconic 3.0L straight-six pushing 180 hp. This car alone created the foundation of the victorious 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL that won the European Touring Car Championship for 4 years straight from 1975 to 1979.

DEBSCH MOTORS' LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110

Introducing Debsch Motors! They specialize in customizing the Land Rover 4x4 Defender and the one they brought to our show is quite special, the Land Rover Defender 110 Big Foot Edition. Meticulously designed to fit the needs of its owners, Debsch Motors Land Rover Defender 110 Big Foot Edition is a monster of a 4x4!
