Houston Car Meets | Limitless | The Car Culture Reading The Car Culture Shops at Arrive April 2023 Presented by The Asylum 5 minutes

Our April car show at Shops at Arrive River Oaks in Houston TX was one for the books! Where like-minded petrolheads come together to showcase their prized possessions. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a car meetup in Houston, TX, and we are thrilled to say that it was an incredible success!

When we first began hosting events here, the shows were from 8 am to 10 am. This is the typical time frame for our events but due to the venue being the home to many residents, this show begins at 10 am so people have time to wake up and move around! By 8:30am, we had a row of cars that had already arrived and were ready to get set up!

By 9:50, we had a huge line waiting to get into the show. It was going to be a tight squeeze but we knew we could manage it! By 10:20 we had all of the cars parked and the gates closed. The Car Culture was in full effect! We had a fantastic variety of cars on display, from vintage to modern, exotics to classics, and everything in between.

As The Car Culture, we do our best to showcase a wide variety of unique vehicles, vendors, and of course, venues! West Avenue (Shops at Arrive) is in a league of its own. It's a creator's playground featuring a multistory layout and a participant's dream due to the vast amounts of shade and locations to shop and eat. Our spectators and fans always make our shows so special and this part of the blog is a huge shoutout to all of you for attending, following us, and having fun with us!

Rare Finds at Car Culture

Special Cars Now, let's get to some of the standout cars that made this meetup a truly memorable one.

Maserati MC20

The Maserati MC20 is a supercar that boasts impressive performance, advanced technology, and innovative design features. One of the car's standout features is its carbon fiber monocoque chassis, which is both strong and lightweight, allowing for optimal performance on the track. Additionally, the car's 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine was developed in-house by Maserati and produces an impressive 621 horsepower. This powerful engine makes the MC20 one of the most powerful cars ever built by the brand. Finally, the MC20's aerodynamic design was optimized in a wind tunnel using smoke visualization, resulting in features like a large rear diffuser and integrated spoiler that improve downforce and stability at high speeds. Together, these three fun facts help to make the Maserati MC20 a truly remarkable supercar.

Ferrari 812 GTS Taylor Made

The Ferrari 812 is not a common car to come by. It features Ferrari's flagship 6.5 L V12 which puts out nearly 800hp! But this one goes a bit further. The 812 GTS features a retractable hardtop roof that can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds, making it the first series production V12 convertible Ferrari since the 1960s! And this one comes from Ferrari's Taylor-made program, giving the owner the opportunity to make it truly theirs!

Valarra Corvette

The Valarra Corvette is a complete custom kit car based of of the Chevy C6 Corvette platforms. The Valarra Corvette comes from the mind of Matthew Mcentegart of Mattao Concepts

Overall, the Houston car meetup was a fantastic event that brought together car enthusiasts from all over the city. The turnout was impressive, and the variety of cars on display was truly remarkable. I want to thank everyone who came out to support the event and make it a success. Finally, a special shoutout to the Lancia Delta, Shelby Daytona Coupe, and Mazda RX-7, three incredible cars that made the event even more unforgettable.
