The Car Culture did back-to-back car shows in March. Having Limitless on March 20th and Shifted on March 27th! This was our second Car Culture event at LaCenterra in 2022 and we were pumped to be back!

SHIFTED CAR MEET ROLL IN

This month's car show at LaCenterra got off to a slower start. We tend to see this when we have events on Sundays. It's a little harder to get out of bed?

THE SHIFTED CAR SHOW BEGINS

As the car show began and the morning went on, we started to see more and more people! The show was in full effect!

We love seeing the community come out for the morning to share a passion we can all appreciate!

NEW MERCH FOR 2022

New year, new us! As the Car Culture, we are always so excited for new and upcoming things, and releasing our much-requested new merch to start the year is awesome! This included Hoodies, Sweaters, and a new blend of really comfortable T-shirts! If you didn't have a chance to pick one up, head over to our shop and use promo code 'SHIFTED' at checkout and get free shipping on orders over $50! We could not have done this without our fans! Keep repping The Car Culture!

Unique Finds At The Car Culture Shifted Show

Houston, TX has a huge car scene, and one of the benefits of that is the sheer variety we see across the city and in our car events. And this event was no different!

HUMMER EV

This Hummer EV was the first one to be delivered to Houston and attracted a lot of eyes when it rolled into the show. Despite weighing in at a massive 9,000 lbs, GM says it will do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. The pickup can be configured to have up to 1,000 HP and features a 4 wheel steering setting called 'Crab Walk Mode.' You can see the Hummer EV Crab Walk leaving the show on our TikTok with the link here!

De Tomaso Pantera

The Pantera was designed by the Italians and powered by the USA using the Ford V8. The Pantera was made as a mid-engine car and used a few variants of the Ford V8 over the years. The Pantera was only imported to the US from 1971 to 1975 due to the partnership between Ford and De Tomaso falling apart in 1975, making these pretty rare.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ's

We had not one, but two Lamborghini Aventador SVJ's at our Shifted car show! Powering the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is their massive 6.5L V12 pushing out 770HP. These 2 cars are different with one being the Roaster edition. The SVJ is a pretty big jump from the SV in terms of performance. While there is not a big difference in power, there is in handling. The SVJ uses lighter materials, four-wheel steering, and much-improved aerodynamics. This allowed the SVJ to set a blistering 6:44 around the Nürburgring, a massive 14 seconds faster!
